Exam forms differ and change their rules. Always match the size, format and file limits in your own notification. If the form says KB, this tool keeps the file safely inside the range whichever way the portal counts a KB.

What is a photo and signature resizer?

Online exam forms often reject your photo or signature for one small reason: the size is wrong. The form may ask for 200 x 230 pixels and 20 to 50 KB, and your phone photo is 3 MB. This photo and signature resizer fixes that in a few taps. It changes your picture to the exact pixel size, then compresses it so the file lands inside the KB range.

Use it as an image resizer for government exam forms, bank exam applications and any online form that has strict upload rules. You can resize a photo, a signature, a left thumb impression or a handwritten declaration. You can also reduce a photo to under 20 KB, 50 KB, 100 KB or 200 KB without changing its shape.

How to use this photo and signature resizer

    • Step 1: Choose the size you need. Pick a ready SBI or IBPS size, or keep “Custom size” and type the width, height, minimum KB and maximum KB from your notification.
    • Step 2: Add your picture. Tap the box and choose a photo or a scan of your signature. JPG, PNG and WebP all work.
    • Step 3: Adjust the picture. Drag it to move it and use the slider to zoom. Tap Rotate if it sits sideways. Choose “Crop to fill the frame” or “Fit inside, add white borders”.
    • Step 4: Tap “Resize and compress”. The tool shows your new size and file size with a green tick when both are correct.
    • Step 5: Tap “Download image” and upload that file to the exam form.

Note: Everything happens inside your browser. Your picture is not uploaded to any server.

    What makes this resizer different

    • It fits the KB limit safely. Portals count a KB in different ways. The tool keeps your file inside the range whichever way the portal counts.
    • It fixes files that are too small. If your signature comes out below the minimum size, the tool adds harmless filler data so it reaches the minimum. The picture itself does not change.
    • It cleans signature scans. One tick-box turns the scan to grayscale and makes the paper whiter, so the signature looks sharp.
    • It stores 200 DPI in the thumb impression and declaration files, where the form asks for it.
    • It works on your phone. You can crop, zoom and download without any app.

Tips for a photo that passes the first time

    • Use a recent colour photo with a plain, light background.(preferably White)
    • Keep your face clear, straight and in the centre. Do not wear sunglasses.Use good light. A dark or blurry photo gets rejected even with the right size.
    • Start from the biggest, sharpest photo you have. A tiny photo looks blurry after you zoom in.
    • Check the preview before you download.

Tips for signature and thumb impression

    • Sign with a black pen on plain white paper. Take the photo in bright light, with the paper flat.
    • Sign in your normal handwriting. Many forms do not accept a signature in capital letters.
    • Crop close to the signature, so it fills the frame.
    • For the thumb impression, press your left thumb on white paper using black or blue ink, then scan it without smudges.
    • For the handwritten declaration, write the exact text that your notification gives. Copy it word for word.
    • Tick “Clean up a signature or thumb scan” for a clearer result.

Common reasons forms reject photos and signatures

    • The file is above the maximum KB or below the minimum KB.
    • The width and height do not match the form.
    • The picture is blurry, dark or cropped badly.
    • The signature or thumb impression is smudged or too small.
    • The file is not a JPEG when the form asks for JPG.

This tool checks the size, the KB range and the format for you, and shows a tick or a cross for each.

    Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

How do I resize a photo to 20 KB or 50 KB?

Choose a “Keep the shape, under 20 KB” or “under 50 KB” option, add your photo and tap “Resize and compress”. The tool lowers the quality step by step until the file fits. If you also need exact pixels, choose a ready size or type the width and height in “Custom size”.

How do I resize an image to 200 x 230 pixels?

Pick “SBI photograph” or “IBPS photograph” from the list. The tool fills in 200 x 230 pixels and 20 to 50 KB for you. Add your photo, move and zoom it until your face sits in the frame, then tap “Resize and compress”.

How do I make my signature 140 x 60 pixels and under 20 KB?

Pick “SBI signature” or “IBPS signature”. Add a clear photo of your signature on white paper, and tick the clean-up option. Tap “Resize and compress” and download the file. The size will be 140 x 60 pixels and 10 to 20 KB.

What if my file is smaller than the minimum size?

The tool adds harmless filler data to the file so it reaches the minimum. Your picture stays the same. If a portal still refuses it, try a bigger, sharper original picture.

Can I use this tool for exams that are not in the list?

Yes. Choose “Custom size” at the top of the list. Type the width, height, minimum KB and maximum KB from your exam notification. Add your picture and tap “Resize and compress”.

Does the tool upload my photo?

No. The tool runs in your browser, so your photo and signature stay on your device. Nothing goes to a server.

Which file format does the tool give me?

It gives you a JPEG file, which most exam forms ask for. You can add a PNG or WebP picture, and the tool turns it into a JPEG.

Will the result always be accepted by the portal?

The tool matches the size and KB range you enter. Portals can add their own checks, such as image quality, so always follow the instructions in your exam notification.
